Dimension Films have snapped up the movie rights to the book by C.D. Payne called Youth in Revolt. A script has already been written by Gustin Nash and will follow a 16-year-old who keeps a journal of his dogged quest to lose his virginity. Let's hope they find a good twist, as if there isn't a thousand movies about that already.

Tuesday 16th March 2004: Youth In Revolt Update:
Gustin Nash has been signed up to adapt and direct Youth In Revolt that will be based on the novel by C.D. Payne. The movie is being produced by David Parmut. The plot centres on a precocious 14-year-old high school student who gets through the bitter breakup of his parents by concentrating on a quest to lose his virginity.

Artisan have picked up the rights to adapt the novel by C.C. Payne called
Youth In Revolt. The movie centres on Nick Twisp a 14 year old in desperate
need to lose his virginity while dealing with the breakup of his parents
marriage.
