7th January 2005: Zathura Update:
Here's the first two promo images for Zathura. I'm sure
a lot of people will be thinking this is purely just Jumanji
2, but it's thought that this is a much classier production.
Hell just the fact that Robin Williams was kept at a long distance
from it, and Jon Favreau is directing elevates this from simple
sequel cash in.

Sony have released the official site for Zathura here.
Directed by Jon Favreau, the film follows two young brothers
who are drawn into an intergalactic adventure when their house
is magically hurtled through space. Tim Robbins, Josh Hutcherson,
Jonah Bobo, and Dax Shepard star.

2004: Zathura Update:
Dax Shepard has signed on as the only other adult in Zathura
alongside Tim Robbins as an astronaut. The adaptation of Chris
Van Allsburg's children's book follows two young brothers who
are drawn into an intergalactic adventure when their house is
magically hurtled through space. Ain't
It Cool have a cool pic of the game board featured in the
film.

2004: Zathura Update:
Josh Hutcherson and Jonah Bobo have been cast as two young brothers
in Zathura, a sequel to Jumanji. Tim Robbins has already been
cast as their father. Jon Favreau directs the script from David
Koepp, John Kamps, and Eric Fogel.

Ain't
It Cool News have scored the first image of Jon Favreau's
Zathura which follows two young brothers who are drawn into
an intergalactic adventure when their house is magically hurtled
through space.

Tim Robbins is close to signing up for the Jumanji follow-up
Zathura which is to be directed by Jon Favreau. David Koepp
penned the most recent version of the script, based on the novel
by Chris Van Allsburg.

Columbia Pictures are talking to Jon Favreau with hopes he'll
direct the adaptation of the book Zathura by Chris Van Allsburg
which was a follow-up to Jumanji. This time the story is set
within the confines of an intergalactic board game.
