Want to contribute to one of the Busiest and most popular UK movie sites?

Think you have your finger on the pulse of what is happening in the world of movies? Then you might be just the person we are looking for.

We are looking for key people to join our ever expanding team of movie lovers. We are looking to expand our coverage of movies so that we are the NUMBER ONE movie information provider in the UK.

As I say, we are here to try and provide something that isn't being provided by any other UK movie site, sure Empire does a lot of this but they don't cover trailers in the depth that we do, or posters, or images. MyMovies is good for trailers but is way too light on everything else. We'd also like to think we are the UK fans own movie site, outside the movie industry looking in and seeing things as you the movie fan sees it. So the more people who help out helps make the site bigger and better.

But we only have so many hours in the day and can't do everything on our own so NEED help! I pretty much give up my entire free time during the week to work on the site. I wouldn't expect that of any helpers, but the more people helping means we can do more, but have to do less each. I know my wife would appreciate me spending more time with her! That, and it's a lot of fun, I know I get a kick out of the emails I get from people who email in who read the site.

Please note we are only interested in people who are serious about movies and contributing to the site. We are unfortunately in the position of EVERY movie site in that the income doesn't support us paying you wages. It's for the love of it.We don't draw wages from the site either. You would get the satisfaction of seeing your name on a popular movie site. Your own home page on the site. Your own email address @thezreview.co.uk and be part of the team for future developments that will include Press Kits, DVD Review copies and a whole lot more that is being planned.....

Here's what we need at the moment:

1. DVD Reviewer This is one of the huge growth area's on the site, we're getting review discs from most of the film companies now for all the major titles and although we've got five people working on this already we NEED more. Please note at this stage this position is ONLY open to UK residents! To apply for this position, we need to see a sample from you of a DVD review and then you can be added in to our reviewer pool.

3. Box Office Editor. Primarily responsible for updating our Box Office section on a weekly basis. We wish to cover box office info for both the UK and the US and would also require building up an archive on the site of previous box office information.

4. Release Date Editor. Release Dates change all the time, we would require news to be gathered on release dates and the release date section to be updated on a weekly basis.

5. Movie Trailers Editor We currently update the trailers every day but with the huge amount of clips coming out it's hard to keep up! You'll have a good nose for finding the latest trailers and telling us about them.

And what qualities do we need from you? First off your writing must be grammatically correct and also the spelling must be of a high standard. All poorly written and misspelled applications will be rejected immediately. Ideally you will have had previous experience on a website (not necessarily movies) and be conversant either with HTML, Dreamweaver or another Web-editing program. This would not be essential but is preferred. We are looking for a commitment from you for the next year. If you are not prepared for that again do not apply. And if you are under 18 please do not apply either, sorry but we've had our time wasted by kids hundreds of times in the past so it's not worth your hassle or mine.
