Latest News...
Grand Theft Parsons came to fruition when screenwriter Drysdale decided to go for something more upbeat after finishing a biopic on the life of rocker Johnny Rotten and having heard of the Gram Parsons legend many years ago remembered a tale full of friendship, loyalty and honor. While this would appeal to most, UK backing (as always it seems) was notoriously hard to find so help came in the form of a lump sum from US investors keen to apply the noble aspects of the story to a post 9/11 world. Once cash was there everything began falling into place...

First up for the lead was Wolverine himself Hugh Jackman willing to work for a limited fee but when his time between X2 and Van Helsing evaporated it was obvious someone else was needed. This came in the form of a 'mad keen' Johnny Knoxville who muscled his way in, eager for the role.

The limited budget meant that the script was severely crash-tested by director Caffrey months before any filming began as there would be no time to experiment on set. Some things got trimmed during editing but the result onscreen is a very faithful adaptation of the script.

That's about it except keep an eye out for an official site coming soon to www.grandtheftparsons.com and the movie will be making a splash on UK screens from the 19th of September.
