There are some great performances in this film. Rick did a great job
putting the cast together. Peter Greene(Zed) from pulp fiction plays Norm
and he really knows how to intensify a scene . Look for new talent to come
out in Eddie Spears"Black Cloud" and Pooch Hall who can be seen in the new
buddy lee comercials. Pooch plays Rocket Ray Tracey the kid on a mission.
This is the Karate Kid for the new millenium. I can't wait. I know about

Just received the following "Just a note to let you know I was married to
Ronald Dallas Woodroof really (Ronald Dixon Woodroof) in 1982 and I am NOT
HIV positive. The dates you have and the information you have is a lie. He
was bi-sexual along with many other things.
There is so much information that you do not have, I feel it would be in
everyone's best interest to contact me and perhaps his lover at the time
whom I am in contact with to this day. She is also NOT HIV positive. Ron
wished I was HIV positive when he contracted this disease in New Jersey. I
can explain in detail at a later date if you are interested.
He was simply out to make money with the Dallas Buyers Club before he
realized it could actually help people, then he could play doctor.

His family never left his side, I have pictures to prove we were there on
the night of his death. His sister and I are still in contact with each
other, his mother has since passed away. " Brenda Snyder and Luanne Capps

It has been confirmed, Mike Newell will direct Harry Potter and the Goblet

to say "When Alfonso made the decision to focus on completing 'Harry
Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban,' we were faced with the daunting task
of finding a director to handle the complex challenges of 'Harry Potter and
the Goblet of Fire' and to follow in the footsteps of Chris Columbus and
Alfonso Cuaron. Mike's rich and diverse body of work show him to be the
perfect choice. He has worked with children, made us laugh, and had us
sitting on the edge of our seats. He is great with actors and imbues all
his characters, all his films, with great humanity. I'm thrilled."
Mike Newell then said "I'm very excited about directing 'Harry Potter and
the Goblet of Fire. As audiences have become more familiar with both the
books and the movies, there has been an increasing challenge to continue to
develop each of these characters and to make their world real on the
screen. It is a pleasure to follow directors Chris Columbus and Alfonso
Cuaron, who have done so much to establish the tradition of Harry Potter on
film, and to work with David Heyman and Steve Kloves, whose love and
respect for this material have been central to the success of this enormous
undertaking."

Monday 11th August 2003: Hellboy Update:
Doug Jones who plays Abe Sapien has been talking in a very positive light
of making Helboy, surprising considering he had to spend a massive seven

then your twelve hour shooting day starts, that makes for a long reeeally
really tiring thing. So I had to push through a lot of pain and discomfort
to get to the character of Abe. But once I got there and the cameras were
rolling, it was so worth it. Because I honestly and absolutely love this
character. I love playing him, I love his relationships with everyone else
in the film. I love him...I would be very interested in reprising the role
for a sequel! It has not been talked about 'contractually', and so I'm
pretty open to discussion when the time comes, yes".

Monday 11th August 2003: Mother Theresa Film Festival:
Mother Teresa Intl Film Festival to Mark Beatification. Mother Teresa of
Calcutta will make history with an International Festival of Films on her
in Kolkata on the occasion of her beatification, in Rome, 19 October. "No
Saint nor Blessed in the Catholic Church's history had an International
Festival of Films dedicated to her," said Salesian Father C. M. Paul,
President, Signis India - Catholic Association for Radio, TV and Cinema.
"Mother Teresa the 'angel of mercy' and 'saint of the gutters' who
captivated the world in her blue-bordered white sari and her dogged zeal
deserves this feature and documentary film festival," insisted Fr Paul the
coordinator of the festival.
"Kolkata City which boasts of the largest film society in India will be the
proud host of this unique festival," added Fr Paul the archdiocesan
festival coordinator. The festival tentatively slated for 1 November is
Kolkata's homage to the newly beatified. It anticipates a two-day
celebration scheduled for 8-9 November.
Some of the films expected to be screened are biographies of Mother
Teresa's life like the very first film made on her: Something Beautiful For
God by the BBC (1969) by the cynic-turned convert Malcolm Muggeridge. Also
to be shown is Japanese director Shigeki Chiba's Mother Teresa And Her
World, Anna & Folco Terzani's Mother Teresa's First Love (1997), an Eternal
Word TV networks' Total Surrender ? Documentary (1998), Woman of the
Century (1997) and Dominique Lapierre's feature film In The Name of God's
Poor.
"Though I have copies of the films, I'm trying to get original prints and
will invite the directors for the festival," Fr Paul said.
The film, which if included in the festival list, could create controversy
is the 1994 British ITV Channel 4 documentary, Hell's Angel: Mother Teresa
of Calcutta. It is based on Christopher Hitchens' controversial book The
Missionary Position: Mother Teresa in Theory and Practice.
"The idea behind including this film is to show people the various aspects
of Mother Teresa and be objective in our festival presentation. Mother has
served humanity like nobody has and her virtues outweigh her alleged
weaknesses by far," says Fr Paul who has seen the film. The British film
created worldwide controversy as it showed Mother's several fallibilities
including her mingling with the Haitian dictators, the Duvaliler family,
and not questioning funds from Charles Keating of Lincoln Savings and
Loans, who has the reputation of being a swindler.
The hunt is on for other titles related to Mother Teresa's philosophy of
life, which could be included in the festival. Contact email address for

is a subject that can be explored. I think you already know where T4 is
going from the ending of T3." He was also asked if Arnie will return "It

Monday 11th August 2003: Troy Update:
A report from an extra on Troy has just been sent in "I just got back from
cabo mexico today from the set of Troy" and the set is incredible! There
is a LOT of bulgarian men around their! They are huge and muscle bound,
hired to be on the front lines to make the army look realistic. I was
fortunate to become good friends with one of them and it is true...they
make very little $ a day. I was on the set yesterday (8/8/03) and they are
now getting paid around $32 a day...while the local extras are making $50 a
day! The food WAS bad...then it got good...now its average! anyway...the
walls of troy are huge and from the top the view is beautiful...the
costumes are elaborate and the armys look incredibly real! When standing
there in formation with full costume (spear, shield, armor, ect) and you
see everyone else..its as if you are ACTUALLY there, in THAT time and its
the most awesome thing i have ever experianced! The days are LOOOONG (14
hour days) and the sun is scorchingly hot...but to be a part of this huge
production is priceless and worth it ALL!"
