Synopsis:

Tightly-wound and friendless, Christine works for a temp agency. Desperate for human contact, she befriends her female boss – only to subsequently murder her, in an apparently senseless act. Then, suddenly, her life improves: she’s promoted, becomes popular with her workmates, even gains a boyfriend…but justice, in the form of an obsessive police inspector, seems destined to catch her up.
