K-Pax
Movie Review:
Probe (Kevin Spacey) is a witness
to a mugging. When the police question him, he tells them
that he is from the planet K-PAX and is taken to a mental
institution. There his is put under psychiatric care of
a doctor played by Jeff Bridges. The Doctor finds Probe
to be the most convincing delusional person he has ever
seen and dedicates himself to finding out the truth about
Probe's past. Meanwhile Probe manages to inspire everyone
he comes in contact with by telling them stries of his home
planet.
Eh. Its
okay. Some of the scenes are more moving than others, and
it dragged a bit. If not for Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges
this movie would have sucked. But these two fine actors
save the picture and even manage to make it somewhat interesting.
I would recomend this movie to people who would ever rent
the movies Awakenings and E.T. Its not the best flick in
the world but it is something I might watch one lazy Sunday
morning.
