Toy
Story 2 Movie Review:
Toy Story
2 is a laugh-a-minute enjoyable family film. Toy Story 2
is the sequel to the 1995 computer animated blockbuster
Toy Story from Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation
Studios. The adventure continues this time when Andy, the
toys' owner, goes off to summer camp and the toys are left
behind. Things change when an obsessive toy collector named
Al (Knight) kidnaps Woody (Hanks). It is now up to Buzz
Lightyear (Allen) and the gang--Mr. Potato Head (Rickles),
Slinky Dog (Varney), Rex (Shawn), and Hamm--to save their
pal from winding up as a museum piece. There are plenty
of thrills as the toys get into one situation after another
in their daring race to get home before Andy does.
Toy
Story 2 is just tons of fun. It is some of the most fun
I have at the movies this year. The laughs just keep coming
and get funnier and funnier. Disney and Pixar just know
how to make movies. Toy Story and A Bug's Life were their
first two successful attempts. I believe that Toy Story
2 will also be very successful. The film is just a blend
of nice comedy with dozens of inside jokes, music, excitement
and amazing computer animation.
Tom
Hanks (Woody), Tim Allen (Buzz Lightyear), and Joan Cusack
(Jessie) are among the large cast that lend their recognizable
voices to the picture. I am looking forward to Disney and
Pixar's next feature, Dinosaur, which will be out in May.
However, for now if you are looking for a very amusing film,
Toy Story 2 is your ticket.
